In the night of Friday July 8 and Saturday July 9, Piet Baggerman's 1959 Corvette (VIN J59S104971) was stolen from the parking garage of a hotel in Valkenburg.

13 June 2011: 9, 10 July 2011 Corvette-Fame Meeting
July 9th and 10th (Saturday and Sunday) we find Corvette Fame, the annual meeting at the Valkenburg aan de Geul location. This event out of West Europe is specifically only for Corvettes.
Indeed we belong here! As a club who promotes this American icon as it was originally produced we should not miss this event. Our friends from the Stingray 82 and Heartbeat Corvette Club will also be present.
The program includes other various events such as childrens drawing competitions and musical appearances before the Fame road trip. This is the ideal chance to see, sense and smell Corvettes. In short, every Corvette enthusiast should plan to book this event experience! Please check the Fame website for roadway changes due to work activity going into Valkenburg.
9 February 2011: Dutch Chapter in Florida
At the Florida Regional meet the Dutch Chapter was briefly present by Alan Foster proudly wearing his orange Dutch Chapter shirt meeting our NCRS President Vito Cimilluca.
"That's me with the "royal orange" Dutch NCRS shirt and Vito, current NCRS President sending greetings from sunny Florida. (Ann took the picture). Background is the breakfast room at the Host Hotel at about 7:00 a.m... all NCRS and Corvette people!"
