Piet was already ready for the summer so that hardtop was removed. During the maintenance afternoon the first steps were made on taking the top apart for the preparation of a restoration project. The aim of Piet is to have the top restored during autumn 2007. |

Mike was an early bird because at 8:30 am he already cut out the old system. The previous system was completely welded together so cutting was inevitable. |

Another project which was tackled during the maintenance afternoon was the replacement of the standard exhaust system of the C2 from Mike. A new MagnaFlow performance set had been purchased through Corvette Central and the boys expected this job to be settled quite easy.....
In the early morning Mike cut out the old system and now various ways were considered on how to install the new set... It was good that so many "specialist" were around that day. |

The team spirit was good that afternoon, 1 group was helping Piet and the others helped Mike. This last team was suffering the most and at a given moment 4 people were running the installation (Brandy, Mike, Ruud and Rob). |

Brandy already had the experience on installing and exhaust system under one of his Vettes. On this picture it shows clearly that concentration is key... |

Without Sander we would for sure get stuck. The workshop coordinator is known for his perfectionistic way of working (runs in the family) so he did a final touch on ensuring the system was installed under the right angle. |

After the succesfull installation of the exhaust system Mike immediately started on the assemble of the restored softtop frame. |
